BDS Part I: STOP ARMING ISRAEL

Join us as we run a series of events focused on Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS). The series will explore the divestment campaign against Caterpillar (via HSBC) and Israel's demolition of Palestinian homes, IHRA (Right to BDS), Puma and sport apartheid.

We are delighted to be joined by the following speakers: Emma Cockburn and Linda Ramsden.

Emma Cockburn, Scotland Coordinator Campaign Against Arms Trade (CAAT)
She has supported local activists in organising their own community resistance to the arms industry.

Linda Ramsden, Director, ICAHD UK
She has been involved in rebuilding nine Palestinian homes in camps provided by ICAHD and for over 20 years has led study tours to Palestine/Israel.

Aseel Barouq, Co-Founder of Know Your Palestine (https://www.clubhouse.com/club/know-your-palestine)
She is a Palestinian activist and has been leading multiple social media campaigns and raising awareness about Palestine on platforms like Twitter, Instagram and Clubhouse.

We will come together (via Zoom) to hear our speakers thoughts followed by questions, an open general discussion and a call to BDS.

We also hope to be joined by local Palestinians, as well as friends and supporters keen to learn more about BDS, share perspectives and take action.
