BBC – Shame on you! Demonstration – Nov 11th

Another huge turnout to our Palestine solidarity demo in Aberdeen today. There must have been at least 500 people there as we collected 400 signatures on our letter of protest to the BBC for their biased and completely unbalanced coverage of the massacres and war crimes in Gaza and the killing of Palestinians in the West Bank.

As the death toll grows higher and Israel continues to bomb civilians and withhold humanitarian aid, they have had to moderate their bias but they are still guilty of skewed reporting in favour of Israel. Just compare the coverage on AlJazeera.. in fact just watch AlJazeera for accurate reporting on the ground!

After a rally in Westburn Park, where several children spoke for the children in Gaza, we walked to the BBC - what a sight we made. Then another peaceful if noisy rally outside the BBC which must have left those inside with no doubt of our grievances.
